Signature scent of my best friend, and she has it every medium: perfume, lotion, powder, room spray, candle. It smells great in her boudoir always. Unfortunately, on her person, it smells good at first (warm, uncommon, rich) but then it turns. It becomes "perfumed old lady whose diaper is damp." I can hardly stand it but I do not say anything because no one else seems to dislike it. I also have this response to a heavy dose of Tide laundry detergent's scent.
Refined, feminine and gracious. Suggests rich warmth and luxury. Unusual balance of mellow floral sweetness, clean soapy freshness and slightly mysterious forest-y depth. Powdery floral with slight undertone of herbaceous greens and dry down of soft woods and moss. Beautiful, distinctive, subtly sensual and not the least bit cloying or overpowering.
An altogether memorable fragrance. Enchanting!
Warm, soft and powdery -- literally "feels" golden in the nose. Goldleaf is The Thymes' best seller, and I can't believe that this ultra-feminine classic doesn't get more play here on Basenotes.
Btw, guys, it's not just for the gals -- you can enjoy a full range of Goldleaf home scenting products (e.g., candles, sprays etc.) without spritzing on the juice itself.
