What can I say? I'm a sucker for aquatics and yes this is a generic aquatic. To be honest though it's not bad at all. And I am pretty shocked by the negative reviews.

When I sniff this I think of walking down a beach, the sun is close to setting but it is still scorching hot. Drinking a sprite and breezes of the sea blow by, the sweetness of the sprite is less and less apparent. Sitting down and tanning until the sun sets.

Light blue smells like a men's health magazine...

Longevity bad but honestly many d&g fragrances are light. The one and the one gentlemen both very light.

My suggestion don't buy unless you are a collector; my favorite aquatic must have is bulgari aqua.

Completely underrated is right. Just another one of those fragrances that many knock and I absolutely adore. To be perfectly honest, this is one of those fragrances that I catch a whiff on myself through the day and it makes me smile and feel good, whether at home being lazy, at work, or just out and about around town or the city. It's a mood enhancer, for me, and a great one at that.

Side note: Female response is a very positive one, even after a few hours of wear.

It took me a while to figure it out, but I finally got what this reminds me of, which is by no means a bad thing -- the stem of a tomato plant!

Everyone delved into the notes much better than I can, but I will say that the scent is getting far more flack than it should in these reviews.

Everybody has their summer fragrance. A variety of citrus notes. I work in a hotel type setting and I can tell when the Acqua de Gio's come out of the elevator, Cool Waters, Burberrys, Eau de Cologne Imperiales and Eau Savages. They all smell good, a fresh morning is in the works. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue pour Homme is no different. Grapefruit is the top note. The secret is to not place it on your wrist where other chemicals will foul it up, ie. hand sanitizer, lotion, soaps. Spray it where it touches nothing but skin and you will be pleased. Luca Turin (The Guide) was overly and dramatically cruel. It is as pleasant as any other citrus scent.

The opening of this scent is the drydown of Kenneth Cole Black which is ok.It will guide you through your day & get you home safe. Nothing to applaud about. There are better fruit aquas out there.

Luca Turin says: "Light Blue Pour Homme is like pleague and cholera at once". I'm not that caustic but this inoffensive and absolutely anonimous synthetic fragrance is surely far from evoking the mediterranean sex appeal represented in the original tv commercial. Boring.
