I initially gave this a thumbs up rating, but having owned this for over a year, I've decided that on the whole, it is at most a so-so fragrance. The decent woody base that once impressed me, seems to be a part of many other fragrances that have a much better opening and overall structure. It does smell a bit like fruit-flavored soda.

Nice smelling perfume. Full of life in the beginning. But base is not strong, as said in earlier reviews. Not so great longevity. I have bought it 2 times and would be buying again once 2nd bottle will finish....means I like it!

Great surprise from Mr.Klein! Refreshing and reffined at the same time, this fragrance starts with a sweet fruity smell that gets slightly powdery in some minutes and lasts 6+ hours. Don't buy it as if it were one of those non-original summer fragrances. If you do it, you'll regret. It's versatile. Great for daily use and for informal night hangouts.

If this smells like bug spray, then bug spray I will wear. I agree with the positive comments; it is light and creamy with sweet notes and gentle woods. Self-effacing and innocuous, it is a wonderfully pleasant casual fragrance. It is probably intended for the younger crowd, but anyone can wear it because it is utterly ingratiating. Perhaps bug spray is smelling too good nowadays.

SirSlarty is close with the comparo to Polo Explorer...didn't even think about it until I read the reviews. If you don't smell/wear this in the summer, you are going to dislike it. It needs heat for the bunch of notes to develop and shine. I will purchase this now, but strictly for summer use.

Pine or mint? not sure...mixed with blue sweets, the piney/minty overshadowing the sweet. I see myself wearing this to an afternoon affair, maybe a birthday party or a picnic or something. It gives an air of assuredness.
My first assesment would have def been a thumbs down...now a thumbs up.

It starts with a tolerable synthetic clean opening; not exciting but tolerable. However, the dry down does remind me of bug spray (as noted by another reviewer). Not that there is anything wrong with bug spray, but they don't make the stuff smell that way so people feel compelled to wear it just for fun. A co-worker gave me a rare negative comment: you smell YUCKY. That’s the final nail in the coffin: thumbs down for this.

A man comes from outside, he was just gathering wood to put on the fire. It was not hard work, and did not fatigue him, but he decides to sit down. His body is very powerful, but not weightlifter strong, it is a natural build. It is winter time, and he sits at the bar in his log cabin to have a cup of something. He drinks a concoction of almonds, whiskey, and coffee, which is warm and frothy. The man is at peace drinking his cup with his dog by his side. He thinks about something, maybe the past, maybe a woman. But nothing that discontents him, he is at ease.

This tries very hard not to stand out, and in that it succeeds wonderfully. The opening is fresh and lively with a strong citrus accord, but barely evolves at all when it dries down. I could easily achieve similar levels of complexity using a high street shower gel. Pretty bland and uninspiring

The first time I sprayed it, I thought it smelled like bathroom cleanser. The second time, I swore it smelled like Off! bug spray. Upon giving it to a friend, they said the same thing(Off)...so re marketing insect repellent can be done!

Synthetic citrus opening obliquely similar to several of the other fragrances in its category: It’s a strange accord, the combination of citrus notes is a little icky, but the synthetic feel to the citrus is rather nice. I actually like the synthetics background better that the fruit notes. Where it goes from there is predictable. It picks up some unusual miscellaneous notes that bear no relationship to each other but the names of the notes might possibly impress the group that the fragrance is aimed at: there’s pimento and shiso and cocoa… wow. As usual with this class of fragrance, the base is negligible in strength and it doesn’t last very long. CK In 2U Him isn’t too bad: it's attractive in its own way. It’s quite typical of the later endeavors of Calvin Klein: Pleasant, mediocre quality, not so mediocre price tag...

Fruity amber with a slight pine on top and lasts for about 3-4 hours. Nice casual scent. It's just like Polo Explorer without the woodiness to it. I like 'em both.

This is an OK scent. Very short lived (2 hrs), with an opening of fizzy lime that quickly fades revealing a very slightly musky pine/cedar that stays close to the skin. This is good for hot summer days when you want a scent that wont become too overpowering or cloying, but be prepared to re-apply a couple of times throughout the day. I definitely wouldn't pay full price for a bottle of this, but I wouldn't toss out a freebie either.

If you will indulge me a few moments, I'd like to profess my love for CKIN2U for Him. I know it's detested here, but I must digress from the negative tide and say it's got depth, originality & quality. It's fizzy citrus opening is balanced and original. As it warms, the soft and slightly powdery cocoa/pimento accord develops. This stage is where I fell in love. Is it a gourmand or an oriental? Or both? I don't know, but it smells like an fine dessert (maybe cannoli?) waiting to be eaten. This accord fades into a light woody with a touch of white musk finale. The longevity is good and the bottle is unique and easy to handle. I haven't been this enthralled with CK since Obsession for Men came out which is not to say it's a masterpiece like Obsession. It does however, have more going for it than 95% of frags released last year. And yes, I detest the "techo-sexual", "young boy on the prowl" marketing campaign. In the end, this one succeeds.

I made a fragrance purchase at Macy's and they gave me a small sample bottle of this. I have put it on twice and its safe to say that I'm not impressed. CK In 2U starts out with a fruity top note that sort of reminds me of an off brand lemon furniture polish. As the scent progresses, it drys down to mediocre blend of wood and musk. Its never a horrible scent, but to me, this is not the best CK fragrance available.

Have to stick up for this one, it takes five minutes for the citrus to settle down, then it's a unique and punchy scent for about twenty minutes. From here it is short lasting, smelling fresh and inoffensive for an hour or two, and a close to the skin wood base after that.

very youthful in its liveliness, always an interesting if not manageable fragrance.

Not synthetic but very short lasting top and mid notes and average base notes...

Tester of this perfume is much nicer.About the original,do not buy it.It has a unique smell and bottle but that is all.Very fruity(which I normally like and I like upon this one too but very short lasting)

Makes me angry to learn its short lasting.Spare of money I feel like now.

Regards everybody.

Dull, boring, bland and digusting!

I can smell ketchup, cola, and a lot og general generic-ness in terms of contemporaneus men's frags in this one, along with a "wrong' smelling citrus...

NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!

I think this frag' has been released in the wrong season here in Australia. We are just heading into Winter so I get the feeling that my fairly 'cool' reaction to this one may be best re-evaluated coming back into the warmer months.
In the meantime, it's a short lasting let-down, but again, I will defer judgement on this one.......

Kudos to the CK-people for extraordinary packaging on this one. The In 2U bottle surely is an eye-catcher and very good looking in it´s modern coolness. Sadly the juice is below average as one has come to expect from this house nowadays. Boring, artificial semi-oriental that doesn´t know where to go. Kind of powdery, kind of cocoa-ish, not a good composition. And a fleeting one on top of that. Pass.

This was not a big deal, nothing special about it at all! The scent is dull, a little different from most CK's but boring. When it dried down, for me, it didn't even smell good.

Have to decline this...

Got a free sampler with my recently ordered Minotaure (which apparantly is no longer discontinued!)

The opnening is pretty standard stuff; fresh, spicey, citrus...(I never like openings in perfums that much because it's often too sharp)
The middle is warmer, rounder with a nice hint of chocolate, milk chocolate that is - a touch more cacao would've been nice, but the scent rapidly settles down in a generic soft powdery musk, which is way too sweet for my taste, it stings my nose in an unplesant way.
It isn't masculine at all (though there are many more woodsy scents which are too sweet as well, like Lancome trophee or Polo for instance) and I would detest an overly sweet smell on any woman as-well.

Finally the round, powdery quality, which softened the sharp sweetness a bit, only lasts 3 hours and what remains for the rest of the time is an equivalent of plain sugar made into a scent.
I hope it didn't ruin my nose.

A fragrance unworthy of much comment.
Pleasant, but lacking conviction and presence.
Fruity opening notes collide with some unusual musk/smokey accords, and then the whole composition just falls to pieces. 2 hours on, and there remained just the ghost of an odour on my arm.
Forgettable.

First ever review on here!!

Tried a tester of CK IN2U in store yesterday. I think: One of CK's better efforts.
Sophisticated versatile smell - would suit office or going out somewnere nice in the evening.
Dries down to a soft, sweet, powdery 'pine.' (but an expensive smelling pine)
Very good sillage on me and lasts a little above the average (7hrs).

Will buy this.

Shame about the cruddy packaging - a fine fragrance in a cheap looking bottle. (what's the white plastic 'jacket' all about???)

So they wanted to make this the next cK one sensation. Ummm....other than a nice citrus opening, everything's downhill from there. The middle notes smelled of a white floral, woody, and an undertone of musk, which smelled more like a cross between walnuts and rubber, not strong, but it was there. After that, it just broke apart, the interest was lost and left me thinking the fragrance developer over at Calvin Klein should be replaced...sad, but true.

I tried this on thinking of all the other CK fragrances that i hate... (ie. obsession, escape, etc.) The only CK fragrance i can wear is Eternity Summer.
Thinking of all these failures from CK, i thought 'What am i doing!'...

BUT... this... smells like heaven!!!

The initial smell was a bit 'ehh'...
But after a few minutes it was a very 'white' clean smell. Kind of like SUPER SUPER GREAT SMELLING LAUNDRY! Non-synthetic at all! Great packaging as well!
DEFINATE buy from me!
