A green tobacco accord is the crux of the entire fragrance. The opening is quite sharp (bergamot and yuzu I assume) but tit fades into a very pleasant tobacco and coffee accord over a light woods. Not sweet at all. Average longevity and sillage; a couple of sprays is all you need. I like it in the fact that it is not another clean and fresh scent.

A very pleasant bitter-sweet citrus top with basil, bergamot, yuzu & some traces of tobacco, very alive (& kickin':).
What follows this bright opening after 5-20 min. is a heavenly oriental-spicy combination of pepper, coffee and tobacco that makes you feel powerful and elegant.
Smooth woods and sweet musk are present at dry down (after about 4-6 hrs. on my skin), completing the rest of notes, with a classy and sensual aroma.
With 4-5 sprays I've got a strong sillage in the first couple of hours and a good longevity of 6-8 hrs.
As a recent and long waited acquisition, I am very happy with...possibly even in my top 10. My rank 8.8/10

A very nice, pleasant scent… Trussardi Inside Man is well made: soft, refined, balanced, and masculine. I get a competent basil / yuzu opening that is citrus-fresh and that quickly pulls the tobacco note from the heart to round it out: this accord is balanced and clean with only a minimum of (unobjectionable) synthetic tinge. I’m usually anosmic to pepper notes so I don’t smell them even though they are probably there. If there is coffee in the middle accord, I can’t smell it... just the tobacco added to the fresh opening. The tobacco doesn’t last very long before it transmutes to a woody, musky base. A light, pleasant scent and quite enjoyable.

This is a wonderful fragrance. Sweet, but not in an overpowering way. I don't get lemon on the top at all. It's is sort of citrusy, but to my nose it smells more like pineapple. This is nicely blended with a coffee note. I could swear I smell a sort of a cocoa note. The tobacco is very, VERY faint, and drifts in and out. Sometimes I smell it, sometimes I don't. And the woods underneath and nicely balanced.

Overall a very classy fragrance. Decent sillage and longevity.

I've just sprayed myself all over with this very elegant fragrance and so far, can definitely say that it's a subtle, elegant, mature, unobtrusive and very masculine scent that most men would be happy to wear without drawing too much attention.

It seems very well-balanced, harmonious and not overpowering which makes it suitable for the office/work or a sombre occasion.

The bottle is quite unique and elegantly designed with a generous spritzer as well.

I personally prefer louder fragrances like the original Trussardi Uomo, but this is an essential for those quieter moments.

I smell the coffee, leather, woods and the bergamot and yuzu dissipate quickly, so the sensual drydown is quite prominent although less sexual than Uomo.

It smells exactly like BalMan by Pierre Balmain.

This is a good male wardrobe must-have.

Impressive looking bottle to showcase this 2006 creation from Nathalie Lorson who by the way had also composed Lalique's Encre Noire in that same year. But looks aside, TRUSSARDI INSIDE does away with the archetypical 3-level pyramid and dives right inside the heart of the scent from the get-go, unleashing a mild, rather dry woodsy aroma punctuated with pepper and coffee accords. As it dries down, the pepper fades into the background to reveal subtle hints of tobacco on top of the woods. It's funny how I suddenly found myself thinking of expensive furniture in dark wood panelled stores. Perhaps that's what this skin scent reminds me of - classy elegance. It certainly bears that quiet self assuredness you tend to find among men of worldly experience, the kind of men who simply don't give a damn about whether or not you can smell this scent on him.
