Reviews of Touch ![]() tamashek United StatesShow all reviews | The pomengranate sweetens it a bit but to me it is primarily about the flowers. At first application, it kinda smells like hair-spray but that is gone within a few minutes. The jasmine and tiare flowers are the main notes I smell, yet, close to the skin, the sandalwood appears. I find this fragrance more enjoyable as it wears and softens. 27th April, 2010. |
![]() lisalucille United StatesShow all reviews | I'm giving Touch a neutral, even though I don't really like it, because it's not totally repulsive to me. I smelled a heavy peachy (almost a spoiled peach) topnote, drying down to a powdery, spicy strange mix. The eau de perfume was definately interestering, though not pleasant to my senses. I anticipated more of a floral oriental (along the lines of Narcisse, but not as sweet). Will never wear it. 22nd August, 2009. |
![]() FullCircle United StatesShow all reviews | It's fall, and I'm sampling decants of many new scents. One was Tocca's Touch EDP. I wouldn't personally use Touch in the fall/winter, but I can see it easily being worn in spring/summer. It's a lovely jasmine floral that's not too bright...tempered with some interesting companion notes of gardenia, balsam, and pomegranite, and then sandalwood in the base to ground it. Yumm... Of course, I personally love jasmine, and this is a smooth, velvety one...more sophisticated than most, but happy still. It's also been my experience that jasmine disappears in fragrances early on, never to be heard from again...not so with Touch...the jasmine is ever present, and always on top if a quick sniff is needed. The name, Touch, implies more of a skin scent, earthy and sensual. With the sandalwood base I definitely get more of a sensual nature than the average jasmine (not that heady jasmine isn't enough on its own!). A fine, fine fragrance, that I will be seeing more of in the future...FBW! 3rd November, 2007. |
![]() nicholelily United StatesShow all reviews | It is difficult to find a flaw in this scent. If you do not like fruity florals you may wish to pass on it, but it is so light, yet warm and unlike any other fruity floral or anyother perfume I have ever known. It creates this soft, effervescent warmth that smells like jasmine mixed with pommegranates, peach flowers and a hint of gardenia. I think the Egyptian Rizzi Balsam is what gives it a heady warmth in the drydown. 19th February, 2007. |
