Surprise! Like the previous reviewers said, neither vanilla nor coconut. I would never have tried this one, as the name promised an experience I wasn't willing to endure. But it came as a sample, and it turns out to work very well. It's not a thin cheap vanilla or coconut beach fragrance, but a rich cocktail of sensual tropicalness. I've been looking for a coconutty fragrance for an Hawaiian vacation. This one qualifies for that position but it's much more! It's beyond vacation/beach/tropical - it's a sensual stand-alone frag in its own right. Delectable.

The smell of coconut reminds me of either a tropical drink or suntan lotion. Suprisingly, Susanne Langes Vanilla Coconut fragrance reminds me of neither! Slightly sweetened, with a musky base, it is more wearable for me than any Comptoire Sud Pacific frag! Comes off clean & fresh while feeling cozy at the same time. Fun, and definitely thumbs up!
Just who created this wonderful scent? Thanks to S.L. This total femme fragrance is a master piece of light, femme and pleasant powdery with hints of milky cream. Very well blended to each other where it does not smell like Vanilla AND Coconut, instead it just blends together. That hints of vanilla, powder, creamy..all in one. Couple of S.L. fragrance that I noticed that her fragrance is so well blended, I had hard time figure out the top and base notes. Smells like middle note only. Master piece; if you adore semi sweet fragrant.
