Reminiscent of a slew of gourmand coffee scents - not particularly original or long lasting. Btw, the flacon design is probably one of the biggest marketing (and PC) cock-ups in recent history…

This one is just overpowered with patchouli. I don't find it enticing in the least. This would probably be better for those guys who already have a naturally strong body odor. I can imagine this one on a hairy chested, middle aged man and no one else.

Two thumbs down.

Not good at all. Waste of money. I was expecting something fabulous after reading all this positive reviews. I smelled it, at first it was pleasent but later on it turned into someting unpleasent. It's kind of a fragrance which has tendency to cause headaches. It reminded me of headache. It is a heavy fragrance.

Lavender and coffee are apparent right from the start – I don’t smell the lemon. At first I feel that the accord certainly has possibilities, but it doesn’t seem to develop much and it doesn’t seem to reach its potential. While the lavender is a very well done note, the coffee could be stronger to give a deeper richness to the lavender. All in all the opening shows promise – more promise than I’m used to with typical Armani fragrances. With the middle and base accords, I get the typical Armani fragrances: a bit of the cardamom pops in to the middle accord, but realistically, the accord is so weak that there really isn’t a middle accord, unless it’s that hit or two of cardamom. The base is even weaker to my nose: I lose it completely. I’ve gone through three 1.5 ml samples and I have never discovered the base in Attitude. Too bad, the top showed promise, and I could easily have overlooked the mediocrity of the middle notes. But with the base, things just disappear… including my interest.

This is 99% the same as Code for men. Since that was a weak offering this is even worse. Are people supposed to pay £45 per 100ml for crap that lasts 30 minutes tops and smells nothing special at all with no complexity, depth or character? Giorgio, amico mio, maybe you should let a new kid on the block take over and retire...at least in the fragrance department.

Armani-refined,distinguished classical italian clothes....great stuff in the 80ties.....even his first male fragrance in this very unique bottle....

two decades later this grandseigneur of italian fashion launches one of the worst perfumes i ever smelled! Not worth the price!

a beautiful, virile bottle!and a good advertising campaign but who the hell(sorry)was in charge of the fragrance composition?the opening , quite woody and fresh ends up in a sweet stinking water...a huge lack of quality!very vulgar and ordinary and i cannot loose the impression that i have smelled it a thousand times before.....e.g.B-man,escada etc.etc.is this the sell-out and sale of armani?as it has been mentionned before-armani prive´ and his furniture line are still great works-so what is happening to the perfumes?attitude-by the way the handling of the botle can become nerving-is so boring and uninteresting and it does definitely not make dream of more and longing for more....

! Disclaimer! - No offense to any fans of this brand: But if the name Armani still conjures up luxury, creativity and timeless elegance in your head, then chances are, unfortunately, that you are in fact living in 1989. Can’t really think of a bigger sell-out designer brand, especially in the fragrance and cosmetics section the last decade.

There’s simply no limit to the kinds of crap that they will put in their gift boxes to sell the below average juices. So far I’ve seen t-shirts (but always with the word parfum added - God forbid anyone actually would get a 100% "real" t-shirt), electronic alarm clocks, cheap plastic cuff links, and the last one - silicone i-Pod covers. Ok, maybe someone actually wants all that stuff, but it’s becoming painfully obvious that the fragrances just aren’t cutting it by themselves anymore. It has to be said that this mainly goes for the Emporio Armani diffusion label, but still...

On a positive note Attitude sports a very good looking black flacon. Unfortunately the hinge mechanism that holds the cap is worthless, as countless people have already testified on the boards. But before this review gets too shallow, let’s focus on the juice. It’s a Diet B*Men. An anorexic cousin if you will, of Mugler´s pleasant woody/licorice- themed male fragrance.
Ironically, that far superior brew is getting discontinued - sigh... Did I mention that Attitude sports an impressive longevity as well, 35 minutes approximately…

The worst part of all of this is, that with the Privé line (expensive and very hard to get) it’s obvious that the house of Armani is indeed still very capable of producing high quality, rich and original fragrances. This kind of dualistic cynicism, where the mainstream is served hastily put together junk sold mainly through the name is just saddening. I mean, who will seriously remember City Glam in 10 years? Do try the Privé line though if you have the opportunity, especially Privé Bois d'Encens is terrific.

I am very aware of the tremendous impact and importance that Giorgio Armani had upon the world of fashion during the 80´s. But as the Dylan song goes - The Times They Are A-Changin'. As far as I’m concerned, at least in the world of fragrances this house is over.
