Jasmin Full opens up with a beautiful, green jasmine note, reminiscent of the real flower, greenery and all. It soon dries down to a more powdery jasmine supported by orange flower. While I much prefer the opening to the whole, I do enjoy Jasmin Full from start to finish.

Yes, Jasmin Full is a little anemic compared to Lutens' A la Nuit, but while A la Nuit punches your nostrils in the face, Jasmin Full soothes your soul and blows gently by you like a cool breeze. I've smelled natural jasmine essential oil, and although it's enjoyable, it doesn't smell like a jasmine flower in bloom. Jasmin Full, on the other hand, does smell like jasmine in bloom, and that's why it's so magical.

I've been searching for a fragrance reminiscent of jasmine and green tea, and this is the closest thing to it. L'artisan Parfumeur's The Pour un Ete comes close, but it's rather synthetic smelling and has something offputting in it. Jasmin Full on the other hand is just beautiful from start to finish, never too overpowering, like a gust of wind as you sit by blooming jasmine and orange flowers.

I found this to be a fairly realistic and simple jasmine, almost too straightforward and strong at first, but smoothing out to a rich drydown. If you want a good jasmine soliflore, this could be for you. But be patient, give it a few minutes to settle down.

I found it to be a rather dead Jasmine that missed the sparkle I get from A La Nuit that sings, this one snores. It smells plastic and fake to me. Maybe it´s the indoles I am missing but for me they give the flower a bit of life and make it interesting.

When I was doing my jasmine exploration a couple of months or so ago, Montale's Jasmin Full turned out to be the one I reached for most often, it was the most wearable. It seemed the purest, yet no skanky indoles were apparent, and it was very potent and long lasting. But now...in retrospect, I have to say that my favorite of the bunch I tried is Lutens' Sarrasins - because it's more interesting in its development. So I agree with Trebor, this one is a bit boring. Nevertheless, it is very beautiful and of exceptional quality, as far as I can judge. I would wear it occasionally but I can't imagine ever going through an entire bottle in my lifetime.

Jasmin Full is a very pungent and intense jasmine fragrance that’s pretty much 'in your face' at the beginning. Although it dries down to something more tolerable, I can’t help but finding this a rather boring scent. I would have preferred more complexity in its composition but, then again, any jasmine-dominant fragrance is too feminine for me to wear.

While this was pleasant enough, I was surprised to find it meek and quiet on me, almost bland. I got little headiness and no indoles. And unlike the other Montales I've tried, it had little sillage or longevity. A bit disappointing on me, but I'll bet it's lovely on others.
