   |  Bath & Body Works makes another vanilla that I prefer - Fresh Vanilla. It comes across more like vanilla extract. This particular version is much sweeter. If I use any of these vanillas, it is strictly for the shower gel to start a vanilla base for my chosen scent of the day. My young son loves this one just like it is ~ sugary sweet!17 June 2009 |
 | My 10 year old son loves when I wear this stuff. He says, "It makes me smile. I don't know why." Yes, this is a "common" sweet vanilla, but, really, it smells so GOOD. I've happily used this fragrance in body wash for years, but I'd never considered wearing it as a perfume until the recent launch of the edt version. On me, the edt isn't as sweet as the bath products, and it develops a distinct, warm sandalwood note that I just adore. The edt smells like Samsara drenched in Cream Soda. (Sounds disgusting...yet it works!) I like to wear this at bedtime, and to use it for spritzing on bed linens and lingerie. It's a happy, pretty fragrance that's fun to wear. 04 February 2009 |
 |  It is awful. No, it DOESN'T smell like vanilla extract. It is a cloying, nauseating "vanilla" scent of vanilla like the red Tootsie Pop tastes like "cherry". You know how little kids like eating straight sugar, because in their book, anything sweet is good tasting? Well, it's because they haven't developed their taste buds, and anyone who wears this fragrance who is over 12 has absolutely no excuse other than poor taste and a lack of sophistication.13 October 2008 |
 |  Great if you're craving a VERY sweet scent. Sometimes I'm in the mood for this around the house, but I'd feel too self-conscious to wear it in public. Smells exactly like the name...vanilla with heaps of sugar...lots and lots of sugar! :-) 09 August 2008 |

| This one I swear is a dead ringer for Chopards Casmir a longtime favorite of mine that has gotten difficult to find! So just buy the whole line (you can afford it) and drown yourself in oriental vanilla bliss. Your significant other will thank you! 13 July 2008 |
