Cherry and anise – that pretty much says it all. Kabuki opens with cherries – not sweet, not tart, but pretty much cough drop syrupy and dusty – I yawn. When the cherries are over their domination, the anise takes over – anise and musk – too strong but still I yawn. Sorry, this one just doesn’t do it or me.
