I was not expecting to like this, but I really kind of do...for summer...and only sometimes. I am not a big citrus and herbs lover in my perfume, but I had to try SJP. This scent goes on green, sour and sharp (kkkkklllchh!), that reminds me of limes, but dries out to a hot, dry amber like Gap White Amber and ever so more of a stretch...SL Meil de Bois, but more green, wearable and refreshing. It dosn't stay green or get too "dirty" like most of the classic "green"s do on me. I think I will buy a bottle in the Spring.

Very strong in the first spray.Too green and acid, but when it dries I can smell the chocolate in it. Sweet , girly and different.
Wait for 15 min. to give an opinion about this one. A scent with personality.

The first perfume that I feel can be worn everyday be it office or casual in jeans. Not really for evenings out as there are much more bold and daring scents to impress but this is a scent that I do indeed Covet everyday. Fresh opening that only melows down, not completely dissappears like some other perfumes. With this I start the day on a optimistic and confident note. You can't really go wrong with this - very unoffensive and friendly.

Let's get things straight ... I'm a vetiver hater, but a Covet lover! What a delicious chocolaty green scent. Works great on a guy, if I do say so myself, and I just constantly reach for the bottle. This is saying a lot, as there are few fragrances for which I am constantly reaching. I feel too that Covet has a development, a structure and a warm comfort about it. Certainly worth a try ... and perhaps a bottle!

Very original! I love the geranium leaves as a tempered green among the bright clean lemon, sweet floral honeysuckle and aromatic lavender. Excellent balance - smooth too. For me Covet is neutral in gender, and fairly easy to wear. Another perfumery success for SJP!

Unlike many of the reviewers here, I am not a fan of Lovely. At all. But, very surprisingly to me, I'm truly enjoying Covet. I find the fragrance very green to begin with, punctuated by lemon (which I generally can't stand--citrus fragrances do not interest me any more) and muguet, which I don't seek out but always manages to make me smile. I wish this part would last longer; but nonetheless its lasting power is acceptable, and then I rather enjoy the cocoa/musk drydown. Not my usual style, but genial and inviting. I can't stress how surprised I am at liking this--but I find it just interesting enough while being effortless to wear that a full bottle of it has earned a place on my dresser (and it's the only department store fragrance in the bunch). If you're in doubt, get a sample--it's worth a try.

Being a pelargonium-addicted as well, Covet is a must for me! So very few female fragances has geranium as a note. And, yes, I can smell the scented pelargonium "Graveolens" the very first minute after application, than the note mixures with the others. The frag is fresh and easy to wear, and the bottle is really beautiful. I like Lovely more than Covet, but both have their places in my collection.
