Not sure about the name --- sounds repressive, but the fragrance is nice -- I'm a sucker for non citrus fruit and berries in fragrances anyway -- turns a bit powdery but is bearable and suits warmth. Lasts for aeons.

All in all I LOVE the "French" quirkiness and audacity of this whole line although some work better on me than others.

DCQ is one that works very well...I love raspberry anyway, and the way in which it co-exists with another fave (vetiver) whilst being "bridged" as the redoubtable Trebor phrases it is irresistible to, and on, me. "Sweet-tart".

It is cheerily wistful and wonderful for hot weather.

I think this is my favourite from Etat Libre d'Orange – an, initially, tart raspberry and vetiver combo that impresses as well as intrigues. The violet note also helps to bridge these two seemingly incompatible notes quite well.

Being very sceptical of this house, I wasn’t expecting to be impressed by any of their offerings but this one certainly deserves a re-visit in the near future. Delicious Closet Queen is also one of the better names conjured up by their marketing department.

An interesting take on bending gender notes: the vetiver is not too strong, the raspberry and flowers are not too sweet, and the musk is just a bit synthetic (imagine that plasticy musk in SJP Lovely). A pretty, determined, far from closeted, slightly artificial scent, which like its name and the smiling, empty-eyed mask on the sample package, suggests the tears of a clown.

With the name “Delicious Drag Queen” this would be fun, but “Delicious Closet Queen” sounds unhappy to me.

Powdery and incredibly boring. Didn't find it developed much at all.

Oddly commonplace, just feels like a generic musk and light, subtle herbal/grassy fresh cologne. Nothing unique but probably the most approachable of the ELO line.
