Ambre fragrance notes

Reviews of Ambre

Frankly this fragrance is the only Esteban's item i tested apart the wonderful new Esteban Patchouli, one of my favorite patchoulies around with its irresistible powdery and grassy/humid rose-iris combo, some spices and faint hints of incense. This fragrance is a more than decently appointed almost gourmand (and not utterly dirty) amber with orange, some sheer peppery dustiness, a tobacco/vanille delicious dry down and some woodsy resinous notes (pine?) that effectively conjure the Christmas's atmosphere in the link with a sort eliothropic and balmy ambery dominant cloud. I recommend it to all the lovers of the yummy and comforting ambers a bit bright and vaguely decadent. Not bad.

Suddenly,it's Christmas! This has the scent of that synthetic aroma created about a decade ago that permeated artificial potpourris at the holidays - reminds one of Christmas so one spends - but hard pressed to recognize what it's made of.

A little pine, a little rich fresh tobacco -none of the ingredients listed above.

Not for every day use - a lady may wear it at work around the holidays or at holiday parties. The hubby might be induced to give diamonds - what could be bad?

Not a bad scent, but not a great one,and definitely a seasonal one.
