Acqua di Parma Colonia Intensa (2007)

I like this better than the original. Less "cologne" vibe with a bit more lushness than it's namesake. A more modern take on the classic with good results.

The opening of spicy citrus is pretty good, however the name "Intensa" is misleading for me since I don't find anything in this composition intense. The original has more projection than this version, but that's another argument altogether.

I am not impressed with the heart accord and they could have actually omitted it without detracting from the fragrance as far as I'm concerned. The light leather and slightly earthy,woody base is there, but it's not as prominent as the top accord. All in all, Intensa is a decent frag and I'm glad to have had a few sample wearings, but that's as close to my wardrobe as this gets.

I could simply put that scent is elegant and rich! A fragrance for a man who is sophisticated.

Purchased this over Christmas by mail order accidently- was meant to get Original ADP 100ml but got this instead and I wasn't disapointed- smells expensive from start to finish though doesn't seem to draw many compliments but just having this scent on makes you feel quite good!! Like the Original I love the retro bottle and package which adds to the class of this fragrance! If you like getting suited and booted to go out to dinner BUY THIS!!!!- you wont be disapointed!!

I thought this was well put together when I tried it. It had a citrusy opening with a nice spicy dry down and a musky finish.

Citrus and a bit of musk at the end thats all. Beginning is just like Assoluta but the drydown is much better, still not worth the price.

Oh, how I love this one. The top and middle notes give way to a beautiful dry leathery scent that is both refined and sexy. I don't know how ADP was able to improve upon their original classic, but they did. Colonia Intensa also lasts longer on the skin than original ADP. A fragrance masterpiece, folks.
