I liked Palazzo from the very first sniff, and after some months of sniffing I now own the EdP and the bodylotion. Palazzo is not as heavy as an oriental, but much heavier than most florals. Right now it is the strong fraganse i reach for. I hope it will be as nice for summer as it is for winter! Good work, Fendi! 16 May 2008

I like strong fragrances. I like Angel, MV3 and I wear BLV Notte Pour Homme and Pour Femme at the same time,. I liked Palazzo off the bat although it's much softer and subtle than what I usually wear. I noticed one curious thing about it. Smelling it gave me the distinct feeling of smelling a circle. When I first sprayed it on, I smelled sandalwood and fruity-ness. I expected a third and fourth fragrance, to compliment the first two but there was none. The fragrance seemed a bit hollow. After a few minutes, probably as it reacted to my body chemistry it filled out. The Nag Champa-ocity died down. It now smells sweet, but savory. I can't describe it but I know I like this perfume. It has a distinct smell. I can't say, "this smells kind of like..." and it doesn't have that green smell so many perfumes have. The true test is whether this perfume will fade. I'll smell myself in the morning (my goodness that sounded gross) and if it's still there, this is the Angel interlude. 05 December 2007

The orange blossom note in this is extremely nice - its slightly candied (Smarties candy to be precise) and it gives it almost a 'dandy' vibe that differentiates the top notes from a smart-ass fruity/floral that dominate the dept. store releases these days. I'm not sure if I could pull this off though - it's whispery floral at the edges and gives off a decidedly youthful feminine vibe. Maybe the body products are lighter?? Or the shower gel (if they make it) might project just the right amount of florals that might work better for me to wear comfortably. I put this in the same family as Happy by Clinique or Beautiful by Estee Lauder - feel good fragrances that smell divine on the right person. I'm glad I gave this a second sniff. 18 November 2007
