Thank you all on your words about Kadota. As I always say, you can't please 100% of people, but this sound darn good to me.

Much appreciated, all of you!

So many of the fig-heavy frags out there are bone dry and just a little bit annoying. (PF by L'Artisan is artfully blended; Dune for Men is good stuff; I admire Ferragamo from afar. But, for the most part, none is my style.)

I like Kadota in spite of the fact that I don't normally like fig fragrances. I like Kadota even though I don't normally like sweet scents. I like Kadota even though I don't normally like many "green" frags on men.

Sweet. Green. Figgy. Good. Especially for Storer.

I'm stumped.

I like how it smells like the entire fig tree-- the leaves, the sap, even the dirt where the over-ripe ones hit the ground before I get to them. It pushes sweetness just a little too far for me (I'm so particular about sweet), but this does lend a mouth-watering effect to the fragrance that reminds me of plucking a fig right off the tree and stuffing it in my mouth. Fig lovers should be very happy.

Smells way too floral to be masculine. A little bit of musk, maybe. But overall, too floral and sweet.

First to review Kadota?! For shame all you forbidden fruit lovers. This is the masterpiece of figs, and it is niche to boot. This is not a sicky sweet, girly, fruity frag. Yes, the fig is ripe and juicy, but the greeness adds lush sophistication, and the depth and heat from the musk adds tons of sex appeal. I thought I would be all over Guerlain's Figue-Iris, but Kadota wins out by a mile. Hot skin cooled by dark juices and a shady green breeze: summer never looked so good.
