While Thierry Mugler has proved to be quite masterful in creating rich gourmands and oriental vanilla scents, it is nice to see that his fruit-based offerings are also beautifully crafted.

Innocent Illusion is in no way unique, so don't expect to be blown over backwards. However, with that being said, this fragrance is extremely pleasant and somewhat alluring. The scent is soft and clean, due to the fact that most of its notes are presented in a subtle, delicate way.

The praline note is most likely the lightest and hardest ingredient to detect. Don't expect any rich, sugary gourmand experience here, Innocent Illusion is nothing like Angel. The best way I can describe this fragrance is a fruity musk with a touch of sweetness.

Unfortunately the lasting power is fairly average, something that you rarely face with Thierry Mugler scents. Despite the lasting power being Innocent Illusion's downfall, I'd still recommend this fragrance without hesitation.

In my opinion the cream exceeds the EDT in smoothness. Light, fruity, girly, pink, creamy, warm and the praline itself would make it worth the purchase.

I guess it’s easy to please when expectations are low. The fuchsia fishnet-clad ballerina/slut on the foiled box and the pastel pink liquid in the sample vial had me prepared to gag upon inhalation. It’s actually not that bad. Yes, it’s sweet, and yes, the candied melon and synthetic clean white flower top notes are also the middle and base notes, but where I expected something loud and crass came something pleasantly crisp and surprisingly transparent. If you must have a sweet, sweet fruity floral fragrance in the ubiquitous contemporary manner, you could do far worse than this.

Lemony fresh opening. Becomes sweeter in time. Nothing interesting about it.

Oh, this is cute. It's the stepping stool for young gals who have yet to approach Angel Innocent or Angel. It feels a little too light for me to wear, but it's completely successful in maintaining Angel's genetics while incorporating a cooling, summery powder.

Cotton candy in a very lovely bottle. I got this from my previous magazine job, would NEVER have even picked it up to spritz. I'm sure this could be wildly popular with the very girly crowd. But seriously, could things get sweeter? Candy covered in a bit of sugar and a touch of powder, all contained in a very old patchouli-laced box. Not that overpoweringly strong, happily. Not the worst thing I've smelled by a long shot.
