This is what the blog Now Smell This had to say about it...
"The fragrances were developed by perfumers Richard Herpin and Frank Voelkl.

Flower for mothers is meant to "to liberate your flirty, feminine side", and the floral scent features notes of Casablanca lily, freesia, cashmere woods, vanilla, skin musk, velvet woods and sandalwood."

I smell the lily right up front, but into the drydown on skin it smells like a fairly true gardenia to me (though on a paper napkin it continues to smell like lily). This is a very pretty fragrance if you like sweet, white florals. I'm glad I purchased this. The bottle and packaging are adorable.
Edit: I've reduced my rating to a neutral because I can't wear it. The woods in the base are harsh and a turn off for me. Still love the idea and the packaging.

If you love Serge Lutens Un Lys, and are either unable or unwilling to pay the big bucks for it, Flower by Cynthia Rowley is the next best thing! The lily is straight forward from the get go, and dries down into a wooded musky base with a delightfully powdery softness. I'm completely shocked at how much I like this one. The bottle is adorable too, hobnail milkglass in a cute rectangular-ish bottle - complete with silver toned cap and black ribbon. It is sold through Avon (yet another shock!) for less than most of us carry around in our wallets.

This is a very lovely floral fragrance, sweet, floral, musky at the end, all notes are composed very nicely, it lifts my mood up when I wear and I find it a little similar to Jil Sander/Sun, but more floral than that.. Staying power is very good as well.

This is a beautiful light floral scent that I really love. I don't really have the olfaction and vocabulary to describe it well yet, but I want to say that it reminds me very much of water. I like this about it; it is a sweet floral but watery smell, like a garden that has a fountain or a pond. My one complaint is that it does not last long enough, EDP about 4-5 hours.
