You know those orange and cream swirl hard candies? That's Sensuous. Not much in the way of woods, molten or otherwise, to my nose. The main event is orange underpinned by a very lovely creamy amber-and-vanilla. A tad synthetic upon spraying, but that does go away after it dries down. Not bad at all! 15 December 2009

Creamy spicy florals and an amber-vanilla base. Almost smells like a sweet vetiver. Could pass for a man's scent! Smells fantastic to me. 06 December 2009

I sprayed it on my wrists at the EL counter and went about my day. I was asked 4 times"what smells so good?" , not what perfume are you wearing. My boyfriend commented when I got home. He said you smell so musky and sexy. I couldn't smell it at all. Of course after all those compliments I went back to Macy's and bought some. Whenever I wear it, people sniff the air and say "what is that fragrance?" My boyfriend loves it. He says it smells like warm clean skin. I still can't smell it on me except right after I spray it. I get a trace of honeyed sandalwood and then it disappears. But as long as the compliments keep coming, I will wear it. It is a real departure from the strong EL fragrances of the past. 27 August 2009

Yum...buttered toast with marmalade and a mug of coffee by a woodstove, while watching the morning sun cover everything with a crisp, golden glow. Very cozy, but with that hint of new-day freshness dawn brings. In writing, this mix sounds like a terrible idea for a personal fragrance; in reality, it's unusual but fantastic---and very wearable. Something about it makes me think of the pastels, faded oranges, ochres and greens of 70's cinema---all that hazy, dreamy naturalness. 18 March 2009

Very pleasant smell, I agree it is similar in look and smell to sensi. I really like the the pepper note but I cant find any honey in it just yet. I think it must just be me but the frag has no staying power whatsoever on my skin, it just disappears in a flash on me. 12 February 2009

Ok, no. NO. This stuff smells just like Peaceful Sleep, an insect repellent stick, to me. But then, so does a large part of Shalimar. Can somebody tell me what that ingredient is?! I would have guessed bergamot/vanilla, but this doesn't claim to have those notes. BAD SMELL. 13 January 2009
