   |  Gigi starts out as a bubblegum-sweet floral with a hint of fresh greenery.On the skin, the vanilla-tuberose sweetness is greeted by dry woods and resinous incense. I can pick up on the cardamom, an interestingly perfect note to include in this scent. The sweet mandarin swirls in nicely, a juicy note without the sharp zing of citrus As Gigi dries down a bit more, it more closely resembles the qualities of gardenia with its candied, bright, creamy softness. It's a fun interpretation of gardenia - riding the same wavelength while being unique. A warm, young, sunshine scent! 19 July 2008 |
