Incredible Me (2008)

You can imagine my surprise when I discovered a sample of this fragrance in my mailbox the other day. I could have sworn that 3 months ago I was told that they were out of stock and that samples could not be sent to me.

Even so I tested this fragrance on both my wrists and sat down to give you all my honest opinions.

The opening smells strongly of alcohol however once settled on the skin honeysuckle, orchid and what seems to be tiramisu make an entrance. I quite enjoy this slightly odd combination which is both sweet and creamy.

In the heart I get mostly strong clementine which doesn't exactly agree with my skin chemistry. This smells quite sharp and sour.

However, once again the fragrance softens and becomes sweet once more with vanilla and the sugary tiramisu notes making this fragrance very dessert like, gourmand in a way.

Although somewhat similar to many gourmands being made nowadays, the clementine gives Incredible Me that kick, that little something which stops it from becoming too sugary and nauseating. Overall I believe that this is a fragrance which some will like and some will dislike. A person could go either side of this fence.

In my opinion, it's not bad. Not something I would personally buy but nice all the same.

The scent is not bad. Its sweet and girly, but in a naughty playfull way and its pleasant and soft. Unfortunatelly it reminds me of those mainstream Coty ETT's you can buy in every drugstore. Its what lots of young women wear. When I hear 'incredible me' I think of 'special me', 'unique me', 'look-at-me-twice me'. This is just Escade 'Nice me'.

So yes, its nice and playfull, and that could be enough. Its just not incredible.

I bought this without testing it first because I read positive reviews and I usually like Escada fragrances. When I first smelled it I thought I made a good choice. About ten minutes after spraying it on, I developed a horrible headache. The scent was just....extremely SHARP and CLOYING!! I really can't recommend this to anyone. I waisted my $ on this one. Oh well...

Its quite sexy. I tried this fragrance while touring Europe with my bf. I sprayed a bit on my wrists and sides of my neck, and let me tell you,,, I felt sexier than ever... Wow... it was delicious and my bf.. went crazy. There is something so delicious, playful, sexy about this fragrance. I felt like a chocholate cup cake.... Yummmyyy but not childish at all. Its sweet enough, sour enough, woody enough, floral enough, and chocholate notes make it irresistible!!! chocholate on my neck... who cold resist that... ;) Love it

Not bad at all! Escada is big-selling i Sweden, so actually I am glad for this perfume, as I guess I will smell it quite a lot on other persons. It is a little bit more mature than other Escada-perfumes, quite fresh, almost sour, and with an interesting body. The bottle is different from other Escadabottles, too. I will not get it myself, but it is a nice perfume I will enjoy others to wear!

this unusual and striking presentation, the perfumer immediately starts to imagine new olfactive associations. The result is Incredible Me, a creation that celebrates the perfect blend of Asian exoticism
and European comfort; a modern and imaginative sensuality that unites East with West and immediately

Base Notes:
A highly edible accord which clearly demonstrates the smooth, gourmand texture of the base note, and
the addictive personality of the fragrance. The perfumer wanted to recreate the olfactive ‘sensation’ of a
tiramisu dessert, so that aspects of the key ingredients would be subtly detectable within the fragrance:
mascarpone, coffee, chocolate and biscuit. The overall effect is exceptionally creamy and offers a
generous warmth and sensuality to the dry down of the fragrance.

Middle Accord:
This accord is built around a living head-space of the Miva Fragrance orchid. The Miva Orchid has a
feminine and lively scent; a blend of delicate peony floralcy and light fruitiness, with a soft feminine
appeal. The accord has a clean and fresh quality to it but also hints at something slightly more mysterious
and exotic. It is this more sensual element of the orchid note that provides such a perfect link to the
smoothness of the base note.

Top Notes:
The top note accord demonstrates another living head-space, this time of Clementine. The delicate bittersweet
note from this subtle citrus is gently effervescent and extremely natural. It acts as a hook in the top
note of the fragrance, which freshens and contrasts the sweet creaminess in the heart and base, without
overpowering or detracting from its presence.
