This stuff is sooo good that I tracked down the scent at work. A young man came forward and admitted that it was he who smelled great! Everyone else (women) agreed. Something about this fragrance makes me think of Mitsouko. OK. It is not Mitsouko (what is?), but it has just enough sillage and staying power to make my day! It is one of those fragrances that may not be inspiring, but it is pleasant and certainly appropriate for the work environment. Not too sweet, not too tart, not too mossy...it hits that dead center that is comfortable. I know that I will be buying this as Christmas gifts. Maybe I'll get some for my husband so that I can occasionally spritz myself. He doesn't know it yet, but he is also getting Bulgari Black!

Ed Hardy Man opens with an interesting accord that is made up of citrus, mace and mint. This citrus, mace, mint combination is unique, interesting, and very enjoyable: The accord contains all the characteristics of its ingredients… it is warm, cool, textured, edgy, safe, fresh, and softly masculine. The musk and wood from the base, first tweak the basic opening accord with a bit of drama, but after a while the base becomes very traditionally woody. I find this an interesting and admirable fragrance. The vicious tiger on the packaging doesn’t quite fit the character of the fragrance because Ed Hardy Man is a rather discreet, comfortable, agreeable experience.

An unoriginal, but reasonably well executed cream puff fragrance that seems intent on being inoffensive in every way it can. There is very little development,, although it does improve beyond the confectionary top notes. Once in its stride, its a polite fruit candy and soft wood excusion lasting about 4 hours. Not really worth wasting too much time over.

Very generic and uninspiring, lasts maybe 2h on me. Got few samplers and sure as hell I'm not buying this.
Neutral because It's not bad frag at all, just very boring.

I think this is ok, I bought it and gave it to my son and he loves it. lasted about 8 hrs on me recieved a few compliments while wearing it but I really don't care much for it, I think love & luck is a the better E.Hardy fragrance.

I tired this the other day, And it saddens me I think I found something that is going to replace Issey Miyake for me. At first that's what I thought, but have to agree, it's chalky smell is a little "different".. Nevermind

This smells like Pi or Pi Neo. Way too sweet for my liking.

YAAAAWWNNN!!
Boring and unoriginal - this fragrance has no identity.
People buy it because it's a trendy brand.
When I worked at the fragrance counter I felt like laughing every time somebody spent $75 on this overpriced and overrated crap. Very typical for a 21st century celebrity fragrance - no flavor and no soul. There was a time when each fragrance launched was expected to be unique with distinguishing characteristics, but when Donald Trump and Puff Daddy are making their insipid crap, don't expect to be impressed. I'll stick with the original Versace L'Homme and Worth pour homme haute concentation - fragrances of style and distinction. Ed Hardy is for little boys.

BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

This stuff stinks. I tried to like it because I do tend to like sweet smells, but it smells like a chalky brown candy that you can't quite identify. The artificiality is obnoxious and gives off a hint of hairspray. Overly sweet smells are never mature, and when done correctly they are deliciously juvenile, but apparently when they are done incorrectly they evoke nothing but anger at the brazen perfumer that had the audacity to claim responsibility for said smell.

So again, I repeat, BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Ed Hardy's cologne for men is too dull and boring. There is no "flaunt" in it. Simply your average soapy-water-and-potpurri smell.

A pleasant light citrus/woods fragrance that opens with crisp citrus then softens considerably with vanilla soft musk and then ends with an uplifting coriander finish. It's like Issey Miyake at first then finishes with a bit of Live Jazz by YSL. Great looking pop culture inspired bottle with an Ed Hardy tattoo on the side. Yeah, its not a groundbreaker, but it is a nice innocent feeling refreshing scent. Smells and feels youthful. A reluctant thumbs up!

a very loud opening of bergamot and citrus that sprkles for awhile but develops into light woods clary sage for a bit spice. definately for the under 35 crowd for everyday use. plenty of compliments.

well, it's very masculine and woody. when I first sniffed it (especially paired with the bottle design), it reminded me of a macho man fragrace from the 70's.

*sigh*....so much potential here, and then one note in there....some sort of fruity-citrus-grapefruit note ruins it for me. it just doesn't fit. the same "fruity sweet puff of air" SirSlarty described, except not really pleasant. oh well, the drydown's not bad....for the most part the citrus note begins to dissipate. love the bottle and idea, though.

Average ,dull like a baby eau de cologne and the sampler’s text written is even worse: A fragrance so vibrant, it flaunts the cool and sexy spirit of the iconic”

Somewhat pleasant, extraordinarily inoffensive mixture of light mint and Miyake-esque musk.
Overhyped; overpriced.

Meh.

Every fragrance counter in the department and discount stores tried to push this on me just because it was new but I'm not letting that skew the review. There's an off-putting alcoholic blast at the beginning but the basenotes are what this fragrance is about. I find them a bit... tedious. It's a fruity sweet puff of air with a woody drydown. Not interesting enough to get a bottle. Speaking of the bottle, the graphics are ghastly.

Suprised by all the thumbs up...this came across as generic to me. A blend of Givnechy Pi and CK Euphoria. Granted i really enjoy these scents, especially since the sneeze inducing opeining in Pi is not present here at all. I just find it hard to grant it a glowing review since it lacks originality. It has a run of the mill vibe to it, but overall it is very well executed. the bottle sucks too...looks like a cheap dollar store offering. Neutral for me.

I was really on the fence about this one for awhile. I tested it on a sample card, didn't think much of it. Then I saw it again got a sample card, tried it on my skin and really liked it, but not enough to buy. Then when going through my jacket that I had worn that 2nd test day, I noticed this lovely smell coming from the pocket - it was the Ed Hardy sample card still going strong a week later! It smelled divine, sweet and thick in a very appealing way. I ran right out and bought a bottle immediately and have not regretted it since. NICE!

This is finally on BN after being available for a few months! Unique entry here - smooth, musky, and minty - I believe they call it a 'mint julep accord', with undertones of citrus and spice. The citrus is not immediately evident, but rather serves to balance the other notes while providing depth. There isn't much development, but the mint does fade and the scent becomes more musky. A little expensive, but there is a .25oz spray mini available that works as a great way to test this out. Sillage is average, longevity is very good on my skin.
