A very unique fragrance! Notes are Carnation, Orange Blossom, Hyacinth, Orchid Flower, & Vanilla.
The opening gives me orange blossoms, which I love. It is almost as if this fragrance is taking you through an olfactory ride, presenting you with every ingredient that makes this up.
I am not great at writing reviews, but I will do my best to describe this. I get a watery note which makes me think *water lily* or *lotus blossoms*, yet those notes are not listed. When this settles down a bit more, I can smell carnation with the slightest hint of cinnamon. I can smell florals which might be the hyacinth and orchid. The vanilla brings it all together, which is a good thing.
I don't care for this, I detest watery notes because they give me a headache but I am reviewing this based on the way it was put together, not on my like or dislike of the fragrance.
Its almost like taking a walk along a Japanese Botanical Garden. As you walk, you can detect and identify the fragrance of every flower you pass and you can also smell the clean, crisp, cool, watery pond that flows next to these flowers.
Message From Orchids was created in 1996 as an homage to the Orange Cattleya Orchid and I have read that it smells like the orchid itself. 20th March, 2010. |
