Obviously skin chemistry plays a vital role in the evolution of this fragrance but I must say it's beautiful on me. I was bewitched when I first encountered it on a friend and HAD TO HAVE IT... however, I have smelled it on another friend and I just didn't like it, couldn't believe it was the same fragrance. Someone above mentioned that it was not at all floral, whereas I would describe it as an incredibly floral perfume that remains floral well into the dry down and a little bit of a musky/powdery fragrance emerges and sits nicely with the floral... I can detect the rose and peony quite strongly but that's fine, because I love both of those :)

It's okay. On first spritz it is pleasant, dries down okay then all I got was a sharp urine smell - quite astringent and acrid. I was not impressed. This was on a card though so perhaps it needs to react with skin for that note to take a different form.

There are hundreds of better frags to spend my money on. If someone said - here's a bottle for free (ie a gift) I would kindly accept it - but I wouldn't buy it for myself.

Sad to see this is the replacement for Envy - which is a far superior fragrance. This is just basic flowers without the heart and warmth of something like J'Adore.

On a lighter note - the Eau Fraiche is okay - poor sillage but I keep it on my desk for a freshening up (amongst about 10 other samples...)

Nice, is a good word to describe Flora by Gucci. It's pleasant and clean but rather boring and safe.

While obviously aimed at the younger market, Gucci chose to use a simplistic floral composition of citruses, peony, rose, osmanthus, patchouli and sandalwood. Not what I would call a daring combination.

At the time of this fragrance's release, most of the world was heading into the warmer months, however Australia was going into Winter. Because Flora is so light, fresh and powdery, I don't expect that this fragrance will be a best seller this month.

I would have liked to have seen some stronger floral notes such as; jasmine or orchid added to this fragrance to give more of a kick and depth to the scent. The scent as it is now is far too common for it to be oustanding.

I'm disappointed that this fragrance turned out to be so mainstream. With a name like Gucci, they could have easily gotten away with experimenting with new and unique floral combinations. Here's hoping that their next release, which is also rumoured to be aimed at the younger crowd, is much more daring.

This is very disgusting. Flora smell like a concentrated synthetic orange juice, very sweet and intense. I can't believe a fragrance could be so cloying. The only thing i love from Flora is the commercial. The edt is more wearable.

The negative reviews are clearly directed at the EDT. The EDP is a different creature altogether. The citrus is still muted, but the florals are amped up, way up, with a texture that feels surprisingly petal-like and velvety to me. While I found it hard to pick out the rose or the peony, I must say the osmanthus adds an interesting accent to the central floral accord which may come off sweet at times but always intensely floral, if not a little crude. And with its amazing sillage, astute applications of FLORA would probably leave more than a few guys bewitched in its lovely trail. I know I was.

A very unpleasant, in-your-face burst of chemicals, followed by a woody-patchouli drydown. Not floral at all! Thankfully it's all over before too long.
