The similarity to the signature Tommy Bahama for men is pretty close. It doesn't strike me as sharp and unpleasant as that fragrance, however. A very interesting dry, peppery, woody dry-down is what really makes it like TB with musk

WOW! My first impression is this is like a more-linear, slightly-cheapened version of Malle's'Noir Epices', It also recalls PdE's 'Aziyade'. I have become an instant fan! Even though the opening blast of liquor is a bit off-putting. It reminds me so much, in its drydown phase, of old-school, drugstore mens scents that were the spicy variety and had loads of that cologney lavender note (Ahem, lots of lavender detected, by me. :)) -- before aquatics hit the market and became the new generic smell of men's products. No specific, one scent comes to mind; the association is to the nebulous, spiced, aromatic aura around the "cologne shelf"... anytown... my childhood... YUM.

I really like it, and I think it's really sexy. I want to smell this on a man, really.

The bottle and celadon-packaging are so opposed to the experience of the smell. It belongs in amber, gold and black packaging, with some allusion to luxury goods, like a leather pouch.

Pretty sure this one's a unisex...

Ca Luna is an oddly boozy and oddly fresh ozonic opening that quickly goes into a green and herbal citrus and a light musky drydown. Overall, a pleasant change in a long line of the same old designer aquatics. This is like an even better Tommy Bahama fragrance such as Very Cool. Like most aquatics, it doesn't last nearly as long as you want them to but it does its job. It's a pleasure wearing it and feels very natural. It's described to be like "the air before a thunderstorm". That analogy is very appropriate. It smells like rain. Great atmospheric/mood scent.
