Chevignon Forever Mine for Men (2009)

Definitely one of my favs. It truly has a realism that makes you smell like you've just stepped off the beach. When I was in the shop I go "hey it smells like the beach ay" and the assistant was like "oh Yeh! it does too!" Can't really fault this cologne. Won't offend anyone, very casual easy going scent, warm and fresh, yet some-what unique.

To describe it, I'd say vanilla, wood, hint of spice, but predominantly the smell of the sea (warm beach towels, salt, hot sand, sea weed)...weird i know, it says it has essence of the sea in the blurb though and I believe it. Basically smells like you've put some nice cologne on, gone to the beach, put some sun screen on, jumped in the water, mucked around for the afternoon and come back wrapped in a big beach towel smelling like Chevignon Forever mine, lol.

Top notes: Kumquat, bergamot, cardamom and nutmeg.

Heart notes: Sea water, jasmine and woodsy notes.

Base notes: Cashmere wood, tonka bean and amber.

This is a really nice fragrance. It's very warm, fresh, long lasting and not at all over powering. I think it's the best fragrance from this House in a long time.

That said...it's not going to set any records for originality. But I find i really like it and enjoy it so for me it's a handy thumbs UP!
