I got this hoping for a springy, grassy perfume with sweet notes, dew, dirt, sunshine and ozone -- everything I associate with an afternoon on an Irish countryside. Sadly, Clover delivers an initial Irish Spring-y alcoholic tang, though more soapy than fragranced, After the initial punch of round soap smell, there is a slight grassy note, with a drydown of a slightly less alcoholic scent much like the top note.
I really wanted to like this one. I really did. But unfortunately, its only redeeming quality is that it's far longer-lasting than the average Demeter. I splashed some on in the morning and was still trying to scrub it off after lunch. I'll be returning it in exchange for either Grass or one of their citrus scents.
