Brigitte is an excellent creamy fruity-floral. It does smell like a dessert, and Asha's comparison to apple pie is accurate - without an annoying spiced apple note. Decadent, and the rose here blends nicely. Very feminine but a wonderful fragrance nonetheless.

I love all the scents in this brand (Guiletta is my personal favourite not mentioned here) but the major problem is that they barely last beyond 2-3 hours, and I use the perfume solid not the EDP. Brigitte is warm, fruity and spicy. I love the ginger opening and the smooth rose midnotes, finishing in a sexy ending with musk-wood-vanilla. Sampling Brigitte is for me the perfect excuse to go shopping at New London Pharmacy in my old neighborhood!

Smelling BRIGITTE, I realise just how inadequate the word 'fruity' is when it comes to describing a scent, especially when it also reminds me of a cold jelly dessert I used to have as a kid. I couldn't help but smiled for it took me back in time. This is a cheerful, fun and flirty fragrance - simply perfect for that quirky but cute girl with the bubbly personality. Yeah, someone like Katy Perry.

    Tocca Brigitte

Notes: papaya, ginger, rhubarb, Moroccan rose, iris, saffron, sandalwood, musk, Pannetone accord (gourmand notes) (from luckyscent.com)

I have fruit compote on my mind right now. I'd love to dive into a warm bowl of vanilla-sweetened apples and rhubarb, spiced with cinnamon and ginger, with a perfect flaky-doughy crust and real whipped cream. I can almost get there with Brigitte, and although this fragrance is not overly foody, I still get the impression of warmth that I would from a comforting dessert. Brigitte is one to try for spice lovers as its peppery ginger and medicinal saffron keep the vanilla powder notes from turning too sweet. At the same time, the creamy wood base helps maintain a softness that is belied by the sharper notes. Overall this is an interesting composition--charming, unpretentious and unique enough to distinguish it from the legions of feminine designer scents. Brigitte is a smart girl, but one who is unapologetically feminine.

What wonderful top notes! I'd never realized how much rose and ginger are well-paired until smelling Brigette. The big, jammy rose note is cut beautifully with a fiery ginger, the effect being very bright and vibrant while distinctly oriental. Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and the ginger departs, leaving a larger-than-life rose and musk combo that's disturbingly air-freshener-esque at points. In the heart I feel myself treading water in a sea of rose potpouri ( did I mention the sillage is as subtle as a hand-grenade? ) Far into the base the rose fades, and Brigette becomes a vanillic musk.

It's not the perfect fragrance, at least for me, but it's unique and very underrated.
