A vanilla and patchouli yawner. I wouldn't say it smells bad, but it's boring in every way. Very disappointing to attach Andy Warhol's name to this utterly forgettable fragrance.

Predominant vanilla, the myriad of other notes are difficult for me to pick up, but I approve of them because they support the vanilla almost perfectly. Picked up a sample at the Bond No. 9 boutique in NYC. My wife loved it and more or less insisted I buy it, which does not happen every day. Big thumbs up.

This is actually a really interesting fragrance. Vanilla and patchouli with a background of rose and amber mixed with spices. The rose isn't that prominent which is good and while I do like this, it smells far too feminine for me to wear but, I'd love to smell it on a woman that doesn't overapply because this is STRONG. Longevity and sillage are very high and the scent itself is pretty addictive. Sweet tooths would absolutely love this one and is mainly only for cold weather. This would be far too strong to be worn in warmer weather.
Creamy, spicy vanilla and patchouli with rose, an interesting faint plum note and amber lending a nice touch.

I'm not a big Bond No. 9 fan, but when I smelled this in one of those fold-out ads in Vogue Magazine last year, I decided that I wanted it. First of all, while I know most perfumes these days, even the best ones, are composed of mostly synthetic notes, some manage to smell less synthetic than others. With that said, Success smells a little too obviously synthetic to me, but I can live with that because it has just the right combination of notes that satisfy my rare craving for a sweet, spicy gourmand scent. That's the only time I reach for it and I couldn't see wearing something like this every day. I don't see the spiciness of this scent as sexy. To me it comes off as playful.

Longevity and sillage is good so just one good spritz to each wrist is enough to last all day for me. I would say that this is a little more on the feminine side since most guys I talk about scent with say they don't like scents that are sugary sweet like Success can come off.
