This is two and a half star territory for me. I neither love or loathe this fragrance - there's a touch of sweetness tied up in this unmistakably masculine (and brilliantly packaged) package, but, as some have suggested, there seems to be a petrol-y zippo fuel note in there too, and I'm not entirely sure how much I enjoy smelling of a lighter made by convicts.
First off this smell absolutely nothing like 1 million or any sweet fragrance. Just looking at the notes reveals this. It opens with the bergamot and a healthy dose of clary sage absolute. During the heart the clary sage is still going and there's a bit of patchouli. The drydown is much the same. Longevity and projection are good. Packaging is great as it looks just like a huge Zippo lighter and even sounds like one when you open it. Personally I like this, but if your not a fan of clary sage your going to hate it. Overall it's a decent smelling fragrance that clary sage fans will enjoy.
My first whiff of this reminded me of either Paco Rabanne's Black XS for Him or 1 Million. The drydown (like 5 hours later?) is definitely Le Male. This fragrance is not as strong as either fragrances. Not bottle-worthy for me.
