Calm, peaceful and finally decadent as an afternoon around the luxuriant gardens of a southern nobiliary building. A pity this fragrance is not really durable on my skin as i detect an excellent alchemy of well blended citric/fruity/aromatic elements and delicate (but stout) white floral notes (narcissus, jasmine??) over a magic polished base of leather, soothing balsams and bitter (at the beginning but later powdery/orangy) almond/petitgrain chord. This latter accord (as flanked by a well appointed hesperidic and herbal aromatic presence -which plays as the masculine side of this unisex combination) produces a weird (bitter/almost plastic for a while) vibe over the leathery silkiness, creating by soon a sort of bitter/aromatic counterpart for the brighter smooth (but rich) floral patterns (which anyway are notable, sophisticated, with a vague inner retro/stuffy spark and feminine over the smooth base of suede). The final aromatic perfume turns out like a sort of smooth and chic floral suede with an almondy/creamy lemony sort of inner fluidity (alias white smoothness). Taormine is a nice ephemeral exercise of mediterranean elegance for all those elected not yet overwhelmed by the pale synthetic powdery boredom diffused around.
Pros: Smooth and balanced.
Cons: Faint lasting power."
