Reviews of Floral Curiosities : Angel's Trumpet

Imagine a dewy rainforest full of fruit, green leaves and flowers right after a summer shower.this is a really nice everyday scent.soothing and comfortable a lovely my-skin but better sort of clean scent.anytime you want to feel delicately romantic wear it.anytime you want a scent similar L'Eau de Issey wear it.to time it gets kind of synthetic it loses its naturality.Daily,Simple,Green,Fresh,Innocent,Bright, Pleasurable and a Little Soapy.

It starts lillte fruity with melon and citrusy and then floral green notes treat the olfactory senses.it keeps you fresh, calm and cosy wherever you go.it drying off with a sensuous musk base that will leave your skin lightly scented and smelling sensational all day.it is light and needs refreshing during the day.reminds me tropical flowers under a damp canopy of huge trees.ideal for daytime.

Sillage?Decent.

Longevity?About 4 hours on my skin.

On a recent visit, my family stayed at a local bed and breakfast with large angel's trumpet trees in their courtyard. The smell was fantastic, so I had to sample this perfume to compare.

The Angel's Trumpet note is spot-on, a complex white floral smell with a lily-ish melon undertone and just a hint of dirt. Ineke adds in some soapy musk and a little extra lily and melon, just for the sake of adornment, but the angel's trumpet really is the star of the show.

If you like large florals, or fall in love with the smell of Angel's Trumpet, I'd highly suggest that this is worth a sniff.

Sweet in every sense of the word

Angel's Trumpet is closely related to Datura, and it smells it. This is a beautiful soliflore.

Pros: Uber-floral
Cons: Uber-floral"
