Unfortunately unbalanced and claustrophobic in its mellifluous and gassy link of black orchid, honeyed amber, powdery woods, ginger and mellow fruits (pears, plums?). The smell is linear and finally headache inducing (with a touch of nausea). It seems the faminine version of Grigioperla Nero. Is like some berries or syrupy and nutty plums are hidden somewhere on the side of dark patchouli (not listed). I don't smell any trace of refinement or subtleness, i don't catch the floral touch, just something plastic, candied and oppressing. I'm sorry but J'aime la nuit smells cheap. This fragrance could appeal to the uncivilized teen noses tendind to love Hypnotic Poison, Daisy Jacobs and stuffs like those.
