Stumbled on this scent at a Duane Reade pharmacy in NYC. As far as I can tell it's one of the only places you can find St. James of London shave products for retail sale in the US. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised, especially for the price. I was immediately struck by it's similarity to Terre d'Hermes, one of my faves, in terms of the basic structure, though it is a milder and more "British" version. It's got very similar notes with a citrus/herbaceous top, and a woody cedar/patchouli mid/bottom;
"Complete your shave with the soothing mineral notes of Spicy Pepper, sweetened with Bay Rose, Geranium and Patchouli wrapped around Atlas Cedar to enhance the earthy notes."
I have continued to use it as a go to fragrance for the past few years and it never disappoints. It is a bright and uplifting scent and very masculine to my nose. The quality is very high for the price and it never feels synthetic or cloying. For an aftershave cologne it has fairly good longevity but stays pretty close to the skin after the first hour or two. There is a matching shave cream of the same name which is also an excellent product and a fantastic value. If you can find some of this juice and you're into scents like Terre d'Hermes I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
