A lovely vanilla scent that lingers all day. My first impression was that it felt like a sort of simple, straightforward vanilla gourmand (However, gourmand lovers seem disappointed by the lack of sweetness here). The vanilla upstages the subtle floral notes in this one, and I find it very similar to Un Bois Vanille by Serge Lutens - A true, pleasant, and slightly 'waxy' vanilla (probably the tonka bean). It seems like a great perfume for layering with other scents. If you're seeking a no-nonsense vanilla that is lovely, warm, comforting, and a little delicious, too - be sure to give this one a try. However, if you're looking to make a statement, this may not be bold enough.
My go-to perfume for the last two years. This is not an overly sweet, "girly" vanilla, as the vanilla note is well-balanced with patchouli, which gives more of an earthy impression. This is an all-natural perfume with incredible lasting power. It can come on a bit strong at first, with a pungent "soapy" note on my skin when first sprayed. After 1-2 hours, it mellows until none of the initial harshness remains, and all that is left is its rich vanilla heart. You can't go wrong with this one!
I am in total agreement with the previous reviewer. For a relatively inexpensive fragrance, this is a very lovely, warm, spicy vanilla. On my skin the patchouli is not apparent and it has great longevity and sillage as well.
Pure vanilla rounded with smooth patchouli. Rich, balsamic, very slightly floral and not too sweet. Infinitely wearable. All natural, so no synthetic headachy vanilla. Yay!
Mixes nicely with the vanilla incense fragrance by Atelier.
My favorite Vanilla fragrance so far. The sweetness of the vanilla is tempered by earthy patchouli. This smells exactly like the vanilla orchid flower. A wonderful find!
