A really sparkling, resinous, "muskey" and fruity oud starting in a promising and articulated spicy way (powdery in a humid way, orangy and freshly woody) and morphing down towards a more conventional amber/saffron final dust, a bit too much sweet and creamy for my full pleasure. Probably i use to grant a privilege to more restrained types of ouds around. Actually the powder (or better the wet dust) is mostly woody and freshly spicy than fully ambery under my nose. The dry down features a wet/earthy vibe, an elegant patchouli, a woodsy/aromatic temperament of the forest (labdanum), an ambery atmosphere surrounded by floral nuances (mostly lily and ylang-ylang) and fruits (plums yet?), some woodsy resins and the airy spiciness (really notable on my skin) from the saffron. I have to say that this yummy oud is such a modern and youthful type of "dusty" (freshly powdery and humid) olfactory combination (fruits-spices-fresh amber/woods-oud) really appealing for the "fashionable" crowd in my opinion, ideal for the nights out around, really extroversive but may be lacking full texture and "holy" refinement (is not such a type of fragrance i would "elect" as ideal for a gala night or a romantic dinner nearby a refined restaurant indeed). A perfectly unisex concoction for some but a leaning over the masculine side one in my humble opinion. A solid choice for the self-centered and histrionic characters. Interesting packaging and notable projection on my skin. 7/10 my rating.
