Reviews of Pleats Please L'Eau

I've read around somewhere about the Pleats Please's (and partially the Pleats Please L'Eau's) supposed resemblance with Elie Saab Le Parfum, well, it isn't but I can guess how this fragrance's synthetic muskiness could be connected to such a fragrance or to several Narciso Rodriguez's (the answer is a common synthetic glamour-chic soapy floral muskiness despite in here the "aqueous florals support" deflects the aroma more properly towards citric metallic fields). An easy going musky-tart (and spicy-floral) boring concoction with the Issey Miyake's landmark "japanese pond effect". Pass by.

Here's Pleats Please L'Eau: aldehydes, an unusual, warm, juicy, almost sickening note of red pepper, generic green notes, generic flowers. An artificial, clean, slightly metallic scent with a subtle disturbing note, that abovementioned sickening accent (it's the exact same aromachemical I smell "floating" underneath a lot of designers of the past years – for example Azzaro Chrome). Dull and not even that pleasant. Next!
