Reviews of Legend Night

Very nice, but nothing that hasn't already been done 10 times. Reminiscent of La Nuit, Varvatos Vintage, Noir de Noir, Bvlgari Man Black, Jubilation 25.. you get the idea.

Now how does it smell. A berry, peppery, creamy, sweet, very sweet, almost cloying scent. Projection starts off big, but quickly dwindles down.

The guy who compares it to Memoire d’homme, I gotta agree, but only about half way, as this one is much much much sweeter.

If you like sweet frags like I do, you will enjoy this. I would wait till it finds its way to Fragnet and Ebay first though, before spending retail.

Slightly disappointed, since I was in my imagination expecting something more original and frankly (conceptually) closer to a better appointed new Azzaro Intense Parfum or something like that. The previous reviewers quite hit the spot since I get amberish/slightly gourmandish overtones on the regular "fizzier" Legend-base (still dominant in its main accord of citrus, greens, fruits, patchouli and tonka). The spicy side is not exclusively represented by cardamom since I detect cloves or nutmeg as well. I quite agree on that Legend Night conjures more than vaguely scents a la Nina Ricci Mamoire d'Homme with lot of elements in common with well known further scents a la Baldessarini Ambre', Amouage Reflection Men, Gaultier Le Beau Male, Ysl Body Kouros, La Nuit de L'Homme, Polo Black and funther. The juice combines the fizzy fruity (somewhat sporty) elements of the "regular Legend" (vaguely floral and tart) with a sweeter side represented by sweet ambroxan, spices and vanilla. Cardamom still provides a scratchy peppery fluidier undertone for long. Dry down is a boring, nowadays mainstream, drier cedary (vaguely pencil shavings) ending. Lovely bottle.

Who remembers Memoire d’homme by Nina Ricci launched 15 years ago and now discontinued? Well, this is the twin fragrance...

Nice to have found you again...

Good Longevity.

Thumbs up!

Take the original Legend and mix it with Boss Bottled and a bit of 1 Million for some extra sweetness. I'm guessing they wanted to make a club-ready version of Legend. Deeper into the drydown, this comes off a bit like Spicebomb and La Nuit.

Performance is the same as the original Legend, meaning good all around, lasts all work day and projects decently at first and then becomes a skin scent.

I was hesitant to try this, being that designers have been flanker happy these days.

Pleasant surprise to find a better than expected execution!

The apple, vanilla and cardamom make for a gourmand overtone on the regular Legend, making the jus more dynamic and better. Just like the Intense and Limited Edition versions are an improvement, this Night version is yet another improvement.

This is my favorite of the line.
