The first celebrity scent to be launched by Asian girl group KARA has been announced. We have been working for a long time on developing K5J and are so excited that our signature fragrance is now a reality, said KARA members in a statement. We wanted our fragrance to be truly special, and created K5J to bring us even closer to our fans."

K5J, short for Kara 5 Jewel was due into Japanese retailers earlier this month (April 14th) before a roll out in Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore and Taiwan throughout summer 2012. The fragrance has been created in Paris, with Three Cups Yard's lifestyle brand 3CY, and is manufactured in the UK. The juice is described as a fruity floral with woody notes.

I think we're coming to what Andy Warhol said : One day every perfume will have it's 15 minutes of fame. ( I have a button with his picture on it that reads "Your 15 minutes are up." )
