What the heck is this! I absolutely HATE this format! There is no place on the fragrance directory to look up a individual fragrance and see the notes pyramid and read member reviews. That is the primary reason I come to Basenotes. I think I will just be using Fragrantica from now on. The member reviews are crappy on Fragrantica, but they do a great job with the note structure. I will miss all the interesting members of Basenotes, their opinions have been very helpful.
I'm remaining patient with the new version of the site. I must say though, each day I find myself more and more irritated with this format. In all due respect to the many folks diligently working on this and I know it's in transition, but this site is not my cup of tea thus far. I have to agree with most other folk - where are the notes, where is the Scent of the Day? I am still clinging on to Basenotes but I think I'll have to emigrate to Fragrantica if this isn't sorted soon.
SotD/keeping track of what I wore was the whole reason for joining Basenotes. I will check the site every so often to see if the feature has returned, but I will be on here much less often until it does.
