Bella Freud launches candle trio

Fashion designer Bella Freud has launched a collection on three candles in collaboration with perfumer Azzi Glasser. Freud says "We have developed three scents: Incense Wood & Oud, Snow Lily, and Fig Leaf & Tomato that are like a mini encapsulations of evocative moments - both real and imagined. My signature scent is the Incense which reminds me of glamorous hippies in the 60's and my childhood in Morocco. The Tomato Leaf is for the Poet, I think of it as more cerebral. And the Snow Lily is feminine and the prettiest of scents."

The design of the packaging is inspired by Freud's "Ginsberg is God" and "Je t'aime Jane" jumpers. "Eachcandle is like a small piece of fashion but recast for a new mood." says Freud

Incense Wood & Oud Bellas first memories of smoked Incense from Morocco, Dry warm Cedar Wood and richresins of Amber and Myrrh have been chosen for her signature scent.


Snow Lily The scent of Tiger Lily when it blooms has been captured in the heart of this fragrance which is supportedby fresh Green Leaves and Water Stem with a hint of cold Snow.


Fig Leaf & Tomato The natural accord of Vine Leaves, fresh Tomato and Mediterranean Fig has been recreatedand captured.
