Marian Bendeth has picked up a Canadian Fragrance Award for her Basenotes article, Eau Canada! which was published last year. Also shortlisted was Marcy Goldman's Cooking with Angel, which was also published on Basenotes.

Thank you so much Persolaise!! This will be Grant's fourth Canadian Fragrance Award and two Jasmin Awards! That is a huge coup for Grant and a wonderful vote of confidence for me as well. The Judging for this category is blind, they are all editors and have no access to the author's name, so each article is adjudicated based on the story itself.

Well done! It just goes to show that - contributions from yours truly aside - some of the best web-based perfume writing in the world is on Basenotes.
