Creed have announced a new fragrance for men. Aventus (a tribute to Napoleon) will launch this month at the Creed boutique in Manhattan (794 Madison Avenue at 67th Street), at Saks Fifth Avenue, Harrods and online at creedfragrances.co.uk and creedboutique.com.

The ingredients will track the life of Napoleon and his conquests, featuring top notes of blackcurrant, bergamot, apple and pineapple leading to middle notes of Napoleon rose, birch, jasmine and patchouli. The base is a blend of oak moss, ambergris and gourmand vanilla.

The fragrance will be available in 1, 2.5, 4 and 8.4 ounces.

Thank you, Grant! I am sure olfactory Bonapartists will approve! Wasn't Napoleon III (once a raffish dandy exile in London before his coup d'etat) the inspiration for this?

(I adore the Parfums d'Empire line!)

simply amazing!!! My women loves it!! My 2nd favorite next to bois du portugal. Iam 32 and use it as my everyday frag. Bois du portugal is def my dress up step out for dinner or drink type of frag!
