Space NK to launch In Peace - to help the work of 'Women for Women' charity
Next month Space NK are to launch In Peace - a new fragrance designed to help the work of Women for Women. 10% of net profits from the sale of each bottle will go directly to Women for Womens sponsorship programme which supports women survivors of war to enable them to rebuild their lives and promote peaceful communities.
Space NK founder, Nicky Kinnaird, said of the partnership "When it comes to charitable initiatives I am very careful that our associations are heartfelt and genuine. I dont believe in getting involved unless you can make a real difference and with IN PEACE we have the opportunity to do just that. I felt a natural affinity with the work of Women for Women International when first approached about partnering for the launch of IN PEACE."
The fragrance contains top notes of Pimento and Freesia; a heart of French Iris, Mimosa and Suede; and a dry down of White Musk, Sandalwood and Tonka Bean.
In Peace was developed by Azzi Glasser of Family Three, who says:
"I was touched and inspired by the incredible work that Women for Women International do in parts of the world that have been torn apart by war, helping people emotionally and physically in such a positive way.
I translated this emotional feeling into a fragrance that would remind the wearer of how they have contributed to these amazing womens' lives around the world.
This unique creation, an extraordinary combination of beautiful flowers with warm woods and soft sweet musks, symbolises the hope that they bring, and the peace they help create."
The fragrance is available from Space NK apothecary, Space NK at selected Bloomingdales and spacenk.com from 17th April 2012.I translated this emotional feeling into a fragrance that would remind the wearer of how they have contributed to these amazing womens' lives around the world.
