YSL's Manifesto to launch this month in France
Attachment 15051Yves Saint Laurent (or should we say just Saint Laurent?) are launching their latest feminine fragrance Manifesto this month in France. The fragrance is due to launch in the rest of Europe in September, and in the US next year. The fragrance was created by IFF perfumers Loc Dong and Anne Flipo.
Manifesto (not to be confused with the Isabella Rosselini fragrance of the same name) has notes of Bergamot, Cassis and Green Notes in the head; a heart of Jasmin Sambac and Lily of the Valley; the dry down features Sandalwood, Vanilla and Tonka Bean.
Attachment 15052The face of the fragrance is actress Jessica Chastain, who says Yves Saint Laurent is a brand that inspires me deeply. Since its creation, the brand has conveyed strong values that I cherish, such as an unwavering commitment, absolute love and feminine audacity. This new fragrance is an emblem of it all. I am [excited] to be part of this beautiful adventure.
According to images leaked on to image social networking site, Instagram, the advertising campaign features Chastain wearing a black dress, with purple paint on her hands.
Manifesto will be available as 30ml, 50ml and 90ml Eau de Parfum.Comments (4)

Any relation to the Manifesto advertised - and, I believe, designed - by Isabella Rossellini some years ago? I think it was a sort of green herbal scent.
