Best New Men's Fragrance: Givenchy pour Homme by Givenchy

2002 has been an excellent year for new men's fragrances.
We've seen scents from old favourites such as Calvin Klein, Armani, Hugo Boss, Givenchy, YSL and Lauder. And we've had scents from newcomers to fragrance: Fubu (Plush), s.Oliver and Masaki Matsushima (Mat;Male).
So no wonder, with such a selection, it was such a difficult choice for you all to pick a fave for 2002. It was a close run in the end for four contenders: M7 by Yves Saint Laurent, Cuiron by Helmut Lang, Boss in Motion by Hugo Boss and Givenchy pour Homme.
At the final count up, Givenchy pour Homme was the overall winner. Created by perfumer Alberto Morillas and launched with the phrase 'The gentleman is back' and described by Michael Edwards as "a classical woody fragrance interpreted in contemporary materials"
