Best Women's Fragrance: Shalimar by Guerlain

Shalimar was created in 1925 by Jacques Guerlain. The fragrance was named after the garden Shah Jahan built in memory of his wife, Arjumand Bano Begum. (Jahan also built the Taj Mahal in memory of her). Shalimar is probably Guerlain's most famous perfume and contains notes of Vanilla, Iris and Bergamot.
Thierry Mugler's Angel was a very close runner-up.
