The Sixth Annual Basenotes Awards
Best Women's Fragrance packaging: No. 5 by Chanel

Probably the most famous perfume bottle in the world.
A square art-deco bottle, with a simple label and stopper. A bottle that is instantly recognisable. A bottle that says "class". A bottle that has changed very little over the last eight decades.
Chanel wanted the bottle to just be a container for the perfume - nothing fancy - after all - it's the perfume you wear, not the bottle.
Bond No. 9's China Town was runner-up.
