Best New Men's Fragrance: Dior Homme by Christian Dior

 

Dior Homme was launched to much excitement, due to the fact that it was the first mainstream Dior scent 'linked' to Dior Homme fashion and overseen by Hedi Slimane. After the creation of the three colognes, Basenotes were eager to see what Slimane would come up with.

The fragrance itself is a mix of Iris, Cardamom, Vetiver, Lavender, Leather and the bottle, designed by Tsutomo Kiyama, contains a metal tube concealing the spray mechanism, which according to Dior was "difficult and expensive to produce".

The runner up was Givenchy's Very Irresistible for Men
