Best Men's Fragrance: Égoïste / L'Égoïste by Chanel

A first-time win for Chanel's Egoiste in this category which normally is won by Guerlain's Vetiver or Mugler's A*Men.

Egoiste started life in 1987 as a fragrance called Bois Noir which was only available in selected Chanel boutiques. The fragrance was relaunched, slightly re-orchestrated, and renamed in 1990.

Egoiste is a woody-oriental fragrance with notes of rosewood, sandalwood and vanilla.

Guerlain's classic Vetiver picked up the Silver Award and Creed's popular Green Irish Tweed takes the Bronze Award.
